The Annual Year-end Dinner and Prize-giving was held at the Capetonian Hotel at the Capetonian Hotel on 5th December 2009.

Jenny Altshuler gave a brief overview of the images exhibited as part of the course on CITYSCAPES. The quality of the submissions were of extremely high quality and insight.

The folowing annual prizes were then awarded to society members for their contribution into the monthly competitions. The throphies went to:

1 Best colour print of the year (Vertue Trophy) - Jeanette du Toit - Moody Sossusvlei
2 Best monochrome print of the year (Lawley Trophy) - Tessa Louw - Spider on web
3 Best Pictorial projected image of the year (Polchet Trophy) - Malcolm Jones - Gathering storm
4 Best Nature projected image of the year (Johanneson Trophy) - Izane Reyneke - Psychedelic pond
5 Best portrait of the year (Millington Trophy) - Gerda Louw - State of Affairs
6 Aggregate points for prints for the year (Kodak Trophy) - Tessa Louw
7 Aggregate points for projected images (Agfa Trophy) - Tessa Louw
8 NEW TROPHY : Best Nature Photographer of the year - Rashid Latiff
9 NEW TROPHY : Best Pictorial Photographer of the year: Malcolm Jones.

The attendees were treated to a superb meal and a brilliant exhibition of works at display.
