MTN Science Centre outing

MTN Science center challenge

This outing took place on the 27th March 2010.

In the old days of film, once of the interesting and challenging outings was the “20 shots in 2 hours”. In this, members where issued with the same slide film and starting the clock, had to take 20 set subjects within 2 hours. Exactly after 2 hours all films had to be handed in, and then processed at the same lab – thereby rendering the judging on the interpretation of the subject.

With the change to digital, this is not possible any more, but in this challenge we tried to revive some of the same urgency, challenge and fun.

Assignment: Members joining in was given the list of 10 set subjects, to be photographed within the MTN Science centre and then had to convene at a certain time, when it was explained that they all had to print 10 postcards only – one of each set subject.

These were all displayed on tables according to set subject and each member present had a one vote to vote for their favorite in each of the set subjects (that portrays the theme the best).

Can all those with a 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each of the categories please upload your pictures for everyone to see what we did?
