All club meetings are suspended

All physical club meetings are suspended until further notice. Competitions will still be run but will be judged remotely. Please enter as normal on Photovault. No Print competition will be available. PDIs only will be judged. Meetings will be done using the ZOOM platform with notifications and links sent via Snapshot.

Outing - 1 November 2020

Join us on the 1st of November for an outing to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Meet at 8.15 AM at the leaping cheetah sculpture inside Gate 2 (near the tearoom). Read more

November Competition

The theme for the November competition is “Square format“. Compose for the square format. It is not as simple as it sounds. There is no restriction on content but the image should be well balanced. It could be a Macro image. The judge is Stephen Burgstahler. The competition will be held on the 4th November 2020 at 7pm.

Annual Competition 2020

The Annual Competition for 2020 is now open for entry via PhotoVaultOnline.

Members may enter up to two images in each of 8 categories. Any image, regardless of when it was taken, is eligible. It need not have been entered in a monthly competition. The only restriction is that no image may be used that has been entered in a CTPS annual competition before.

The categories are Open, Open monochrome, Nature including wildlife, Photojournalism, Art photography, Portraiture, Scapes, and Macro. Closing date 30th October

WC Interclub Awards

The Western Cape Interclub awards evening will take place remotely and will be streamed live on Friday the 30th October.  To view the event you will need to book tickets through Quicket at R60. Click on the following link to book: https://qkt.io/Xjk0zG
