November Outing

Treasure Hunt Competition

In place of our normal monthly Outing, Robert Maginley promoted and organ-

ised this unusual competition, which attracted eight of our members. The images
had to be taken during the month of November and had to be in response to five

given clues:
1. They say there are 12 of them; 2. Just off the N7 but its namesake in America is much bigger; 3. It makes a lot of noise at midday; 4. The
only four-legged Able Seaman of the Royal Navy; and 5. It starts in Pretoria in September but only gets to the Cape in November. (Answers
to the clues: The Twelve Apostles; Philadelphia; The Noon Day Gun; Just Nuisance; Jacaranda.)
