Nicol awarded DPSSA (Vers)with DPSSA Mono

PSSA members may apply for a Vers if they earned Honours in three different categories

at the same level. Nicol du Toit this month earned DPSSA(Vers) when he was awarded
DPSSA Mono, in addition to the DPSSA Colour and DPSSA Prints he was awarded ear-
lier. He also earned DPSSA(Cls) by receiving 250 colour salon acceptances and APSSA
with a panel accepted by the Honours Judges. We feature some of his mono images.

How to gain PSSA Honours

Panel: PSSA members can gain Honours
by submitting a panel of a specific num-
ber of images to demonstrate the level of
their work. See more here.
• Licentiate (LPSSA): entry level Honour.
Ten images to show high level of basic
skill and competence.
• Associate (APSSA): Fifteen images that
show a high standard of technical skill,
competence and creative ability.
• Fellowship (FPSSA): Awarded for
awarded for excellence and distinguished
ability demonstrated in 25 images.
• Master (MPSSA): The highest award
that a PSSA member may apply for by
delivering an educational, illustrated, lec-
ture, as well as a panel of 15 - 25 top qual-
ity exhibition prints.
