Winner Print– Open (Master) Afrikaans Taal
Monument by Jacoba van Zyl (27). An exception-
ally striking image of this special monument
which stands out from all the many times it has
been photographed. The beautiful leading lines
and the angle of the towers are complimented
by a most attractive sky with soft cloud cover. An
excellent image.
Winner Print– Open (Master) Carmen dances with the soldiers by Nicol du Toit (27). A very successful
image of a scene that is not easy to photograph because of the poor lighting normally available in stage
production. Very well handled, well exposed and sharp. Good crop that leads the eye immediately to the
main character in the group.
