To inspire members, Kim regularly shares ideas and
blog posts from artists and accomplished BOW crea-
tors. During BOW meetings people on the group
throw around ideas and make suggestions to each
other, explains Kim. Anybody can still join the group,
which meets on the third Thursday via Zoom.
Some people have already come up with innovative
ideas, which they are exploring and researching. For
example, Dieter Butow is working on a panel featuring
a member of a remote Namibian community, Wlotska
Mai, who built her house from recyclable materials.
Melanie Black got to know people who are also aim- pleasures of fly fishing, while Ansie du Toit is employ-
ing for self-sustainability in her study of homelessness ing her passion for ICM photography to depict the
