Rainer Clauss, who is based in Germany, won the Macro category with 'Moss

egory in the Annual Competition. Rainer also earned the 3rd most points in both
Open and Set Subjects of the Beginner rank during the year.
Tony Edmunds, from Namibia, earned the most points as a Beginner in the Open
category during the year. Another Namibian, Heiko Denker, earned the most
points in Intermediate Open. Paramasivam Saravanakumar from the Northern
Cape earned the most points as an Advanced worker in the Open competitions.
Tom Goshen was the 2nd placed Beginner in the Open category and Theo Pot-
gieter was joint 3rd in the Salon/Master ranking.
In the Set Subject category Melanie Black was the Beginner winner and Johan
Walden was placed 2nd in this rank. Lindsay Antonio was placed 3rd in the
Intermediate rank and Kishore Seegobin in Salon/Masters. Both are from
Mauritius.
In the Annual Competition Rudi Pothas earned a 2nd place in the Monochrome
category with 'Lost in time'. Charlene Naude, from Bethlehem, earned a 3rd
place in Photojournalism with the image 'Get the Ball'.
