Winner PDI - Set (Beginner) View from the bridge by Joyce Gold-
schmidt (23). Beautiful scene, well captures, colour balances
well done, love the S-curve of the river leading the eye to the
mountains.

Winner PDI - Set (Intermediate) Platteklip Wash House waterfall
by Eric Decloedt (25). Good use of slower shutter speed, the
rocks on the left anchor the photo and the eye follows the scene
to the mountains at the top. Good sharpness, colours and light.

Winner PDI - Set (Advanced) Images in a stream by Roger
Trythall (26). Very good shot, excellent interpretation of the set
Winner PDI - Set (Master) Reflections in a farm dam by Jacoba van subject; the slower shutter speed creates various interesting
Zyl (25). Love the use of the reflection to hero the set subject. shapes, curves and lines. Good colours, well presented!
The ripples effect adds to the visual effect and the colours are
beautiful. This is one of those photographs where the longer
you look, the more you see!

Open Subject

Winner PDI – Open (Master) Spiderman by
David Barnes (28). A stunning image! Ex-
cellent exposure and focus on the model
with good skin texture. The repetition of
the shape of the figure in the background
is very effective.
