Entries are now open for the International National Salons
2022 Annual CTPS Competition. Pacific Atlantic International Photographic Circuit

The categories are:
• Open colour
• Open monochrome
• Nature including wildlife
• Photojournalism
• Art photography
• Portraiture
• Scapes
• Macro and Close up photography.
Please note that, in the Nature and Photojournalism categories,
no manipulation is allowed as per the PSSA category rules.
A winner and two runners up will be declared in each category 'Gotcha' by Kim Stevens
and the overall winner will be the photographer earning the
highest number of points. The points will be allocated as: win-
ner 3 points, 2nd place 2 points and 3rd place 1 point. The win-
ner of each category will receive a silver medal and the overall
winner will receive a gold medal. Certificates will be awarded to
2nd and 3rd places.
Images must be entered using the Photovaultonline upload
portal. Images should be sized as for monthly competitions, i.e.
1920 x 1080 pixels, and a maximum of 2 Mbyte. Entries close on
30 September 2022. The winners will be announced at the an-
nual awards function on 3 November 2022.

Honours for CTPS members

Three of our members were successful with their PSSA Honours
applications in the latest round of judging – Dieter Butow was 'Owlet' by Kim Stevens
awarded APSSA, Lesley Parolis and Trudi du Toit succeeded with
their LPSSA panels. Dieter’s achievement is especially remark- Mirage International Contest of Art Photography
able as he skipped the LPSSA application and directly applied 2022 Albania
for APSSA – and succeeded first time! He was allowed to do this
because he has at least 3 Diamond ratings (60 Acceptances) in Kim Stevens received 3 Acceptances and a PSA HM for 'Spitskup-
