Note from the Editor
As this is my last issue as editor of Cape Camera, I would like to express my sincerest thanks to the members of CTPS for
their great support and the many compliments I received over the past six years. It has been very much appreciated and at
the same time, presented me with a challenge to keep on improving and expanding the magazine.
In particular, I would like to say thanks to all those members who so willingly responded to my requests for sharing their
personal stories about their photographic journeys in the form of our regular ‘Member’s Profile’ feature as well as those
who enthusiastically shared their individual ‘Travelogues’. These stories allowed us to journey with them to so many fasci-
nating places all over the world – with all of these accounts being complimented by the authors’ superb photographs.
I must also thank Council for allowing me a free hand in changing the design and content of Cape Camera from a newslet-
ter to a photographic magazine. I am particularly grateful for their support and enthusiasm as it allowed me the neces-
sary creative freedom which was such a joy over the years. It is now time to pass Cape Camera over to a competent Andre
Mouton and his team and I wish them much success and enjoyment.
