Celebration (continued)
know we made it all possible.
Following the success of our club exhibition at Groot
Constantia at the end of last year, Anna Engelhardt
again asked this historic wine estate to host the exhibi-
tion. They not only came to the party, but contributed
to the success by easing the way in many aspects. The
Groot Constantia Tasting Cellar, where the exhibition is
hosted, is open seven days a week (excluding Christmas
day) between 10 am and 5 pm.
The exhibition was opened by the renowned Gauteng

by CTPS President Nicol du Toit for the weekend. Martin
talked about the benefits offered by photographic clubs.
Apart from the many CTPS members who attended the
opening function, other club members travelled from
as far as Piketberg, Malmesbury, Hermanus and Klein-
mond, as well as from across the Peninsula, to attend.
Among the hundred odd guests at the opening were
committee members and chairpersons from Creative
Camera Club, Helderberg, Ignite, Swartland, Tafelberg
and Tygerberg clubs.
The participating clubs are all featured in an online
booklet, providing information about the exhibition and

booklet, featuring an image by Jeanette du Toit on the
cover, can be downloaded from the CTPS website. Visi-
tors to the exhibition can also scan a QR code to access
the booklet.
Leaflets, produced by Anna Engelhardt and Andre Mou-
ton, provide further information about the exhibition
and clubs. Groot Constantia helped to distribute them
and some of the restaurants on the estate even included
a leaflet with the bill.
CTPS received further exposure with press releases sent
to about 15 media outlets — national and community
newspapers and local radio stations. Tygerburger sent a

The PSSA newsletter, e-Image, will also feature the CTPS
exhibition in a forthcoming edition. The blog post about
the exhibition written by CTPS President Nicol du Toit
in his capacity as PSSA Western Cape Regional Director,
received a record number of views and visits.
The clubs participating in the exhibition are CTPS, Crea-
tive, Durbanville, Fish Hoek, Gansbaai, Helderberg, Her-
manus, Ignite, Kleinmond, Paarl, Swartland, Tafelberg,
Tygerberg, West Coast, Witzenberg and Worcester. Klein-
mond, West Coast and Worcester had never participat-
ed in a regional event like Interclub. The participating
school clubs are Aristea Laerskool, Charlie Hofmeyer in
