A miracle in a very short time!

Question: How do you put together a high quality exhibition from
scratch in merely two months? Answer: you hand the task to the
CTPS can do team of miracle workers.
Following the success of our CTPS exhibition last year, Anna Engel-
hardt was again asked to get a team together and plan the work
flow for the exhibition.
She again managed to secure the Groot Constantia Wine Tasting
venue until the end of December. With the help of Richard Gold-
schmidt and Marius Stockenstrom, the walls were measured to cal-
culate how many images could be accommodated.
The second task was for Nicol du Toit to invite the Western Cape
clubs to participate in the exhibition ... and very soon it became
obvious that we would have to limit the number of images select-
ed per club because all the clubs were keen to participate. In ad-
dition, we were requested to include the youth clubs affiliated to
clubs in the region.
He also invited Martin Dudley Barber to open the exhibition (see
overleaf) and do two presentations on the following Saturday
morning to ensure that the weekend of 10 and 11 November
would be a true Celebration of Photography.
