26th October 2nd November Human portraits
A likeness, personality and mood of a living subject, human or animal, where that sub-
ject is dominant in the image. Portraiture is not restricted to head and shoulders and
may include just a part of the face, a back view or even a full-length study. Colour or
monochrome.
30th November 7th December Monochrome photography
A black and white work fitting from the very dark grey (black) to the very clear grey
(white) is a monochrome work with the various shades of grey. A black and white
work toned entirely in a single colour will remain a monochrome work able to stand in
the black and white category.

Latest Salon results
International Salons
Gaetan Manual informed us that he received an acceptance for
one of his images at the Youth Photographic Society Interna-
tional Digital Salon 2021, and also two Acceptances from the
Country of Heaven Photo Circuit 2021, which is run under the
auspices of the Photographic Society of America.
Kim Stevens was successful at the Belgrade Photo Autumn 2021
9th International Salon where she ws awarded a FAS Silver Med-
al for her Rhapsody in Blue (see image on the right) and received
an additional 4 Acceptances.
National Salons
8th Swartland Salon
Kim Stevens was awarded 2 Certificates of Merit for her Hot Canola conversion by Kim Stevens
Work & Canola conversion, and received the Runner Up Club
Medal for Rhapsody in Blue plus 2 Acceptances. Anna Engelhar-
dt was awarded a Certificate of Merit for her Namib Rand after
the rain; Jeanette – 5 Acceptances; Trudi du Toit & Jacoba van
Zyl – 4 Acceptances each; Lambe Parolis – 3 Acceptances; Neels
Beyer, Richard Goldschmidt & Crighton Klassen – 2 Acceptances
each; Nicol du Toit, Lesley Parolis, Jonathan Burchell & Eric De-
cloedt – 1 Acceptance each.
