Joint Winner PDI – Open (Intermediate) Art in the Karoo by Jan-
ice Ashby (23). Strong composition. The person on the left gives
perspective on the size of the sculpture. The image would have
been stronger if the person had not been that close to the left
edge.

Winner PDI - Set (Intermediate) Swee by Sally-Ann Spooner (24).
Good composition and framing of the image well done. Focus
in the face and body nice and sharp. Beautiful out of focus back-
ground, but a lot of digital noise.

Open Subject

Winner PDI – Open (Master) Harmony Park early evening by
Lambe Parolis (27). Strong composition and perfect colour bal-
ance. Beautiful leading lines. Impressive clouds that contribute
to the impact of the image.

Joint Winner PDI – Open (Intermediate) Mud mud glorious mud
by Janice Ashby (23). Good action and good story. More space
below the feet of the elephant would improve the image. Winner PDI – Open (Advanced) Moody sunset by Paramasivam
Saravanakumar (25). Strong composition. Beautiful colour bal-
ance with textures and leading lines. Piece of structure on the
middle edge of the frame is distracting.
