Set subject: Architecture and Interiors

The judges for the competition were Niel Goslett for the Open category and Clare Appleyard for
the Set subject. There were many interesting interpretations of the theme and a wide variety of
subjects presented, reports LESLEY PAROLIS.

Promotions

There were no promotions in March.

Entry).

Below are the winners in the various categories together with the judge’s comments.
Set Subject

Winner PDI – Set (Intermediate) De Kelders by Paul-Boer Putter
(26). A very well balanced image. Verticals is handled very well
and image is augmented with good foregound and drama in
the clouds. Overall a strong aesthetically pleasing image.

Joint winner PDI – Set (Master) You are not alone by David Barnes
(26). Hypnotic, powerful and engaging image with perfect ver-
ticals. Expertly done.

Joint winner PDI – Set (Master) An estate home by Sonja
Grunbauer (26). Very strong and powerful image that will
inspire anyone in the market for a property to have a look.
Verticals is well handled with strong complimenting colours
in the sky.
