16 February 2022 Our next E&D in April will be in the form of an image evaluation
Discover Magical Macro Photography workshop where members will submit images for a group dis-

after the capture (editing).
Details will be communicated via Snapshot in due time. Hope-
fully you will learn something new and improve your chances
in a competition.
March Outing Report Back
Eva Polak gave a talk on the artistic side of macro photography,
providing tips and simple techniques to capture expressive
and artistic images. The main aim of the talk was to encourage
members to try out various approaches to macro photography
and help them develop their own way of photographing. Mem-
bers had a opportunity during an outing to Lourensford Wine
Estate to practise their new skills under the guidance of Mela-
nie Cornelius.
