CTPS salon gives members a boost
CTPS members are on a roll, breaking records as far as salon
acceptances and award points are concerned. What’s more,
we seem to be picking up speed.
For the first time in many, many years CTPS is the front-runner After the Rustenburg salon, there are 18 CTPS members on the
among Western Cape clubs with salon awards and points. With Impala Trophy PDI points log shown below:
a total of 492 points from 459 awards (acceptances, COMs and
medals) for PDI and print entries, close to a quarter (23.4%) of all Member Points
the awards in the region had been awarded to CTPS members. Kim Stevens 97
We are more than 100 points ahead of the second Western Dieter Butow 71
Cape club on the log, Hermanus Photographic Society, which
bodes well for our chance to win the regional award for the best Theo Potgieter 36
performing club in the current Impala Trophy year, which ends Dave Gordon 35
30th June. Provided, of course, that members enter images in Jeanette du Toit 33
the eight remaining salons. Richard Goldschmidt 25
Nationally, CTPS is also doing very well in salons and is currently
ranked 9th on the log of 96 clubs competing for the Premier Anna Engelhardt 23
