This is an excellent landscape image that features one of the iconic trees on a rocky outcrop in the middle of the
empty vastness of the Makgadikgadi Pan in Botswana. The starkness of the Baobab tree which is surrounded by
rocks and boulders adds to a feeling of bareness and desolation - slightly softened by the beautiful pastel colours of
the early morning sky.
