Cape Camera November/December 2023

Winner Print – Set (Master): Shadows
by Jeanette du Toit (24). A very attractive
set subject image with perfect shadows
and all within a well-balanced graphic
design of a building’s exterior. Having an
almost monochromatic feel to it, toning
down the colours in both corners at the
very top would have added to the image.
Otherwise it is sharp, clean and graphi-
cally appealing.

Winner Print – Set (Master): In the beginning by David Barnes (24). This is a very amusing, fun image,
juxtaposing the supposedly vicious dinosaur with a fragile real egg. Good use of the vignette, which
resembles the old style Movietone News spotlight.
