This is a typical example of luck being often a major part of an extraordinary photograph – like here where
the photographer was at the right place, at the right time and pressed the shutter button in that split sec-
ond. The star bursts in the other light sources indicates that no long exposure was used, which reiterates
the above.

well seen and well executed
image of a perfect architectural
structure which doesn’t appear
to be a staircase but more like
a cylindrical tower. The conver-
sion into black & white works
very well as it adds a strong
graphic feel to it. Perhaps in-
creasing the contrast even fur-
ther could give additional im-
pact to the image.
