A lovely image that places its location in Iceland. A well-chosen slow shutter speed
contrasts the large and singular ice bolder against the smooth wave actions in the
background. Beautiful soft and pastel colours add to the wintery feel about the
scene. Photoshop. Also try and convert this image into black & white for more
impact.

Winner Print – Set (Master) Thunderously WET and COLD by David Barnes
(26). A most attractive pano-ramic image that has great impact because it dem-
onstrates the force of nature in all its power over man-made structures. The angle
at which it was taken is unusual as it captures both entrance bea-cons/lights to
the harbour. It is very well exposed and well composed and the inclusion of the
group of people in the third of the foreground adds to the drama of the scene.
