Cape Camera January 2025

Winner Print - Set (Master) Rainy
day Porto by Jacoba van Zyl (25).
Well done conversion into black
and white with good details in the
dark areas and no blow-out in the
brighter parts. Placing the person
in the centre of the image, almost
in silhouette, and being surrounded
by lattice-like architectural forms, is
most attractive and works very well.

Below are the winners in the Open category with the judges' comments.

Winner PDI — Open (Master) Moody Blues by David Barnes (30). An exceptionally creative
and beautiful image that deserves nothing but the top marks. It is perfect in every way.
