Joint Winner PDI – Open (Advanced) Amina by Trudi Du Toit (26).
This is a well light and pin sharp image with strong eye contact
between the model and the viewer, which is intensified by the Joint Winner PDI – Open (Advanced) Hope springs by Jonathan
lines of the cloth leading towards the face and the eyes. Mark Burchell (26). The placement of the metal springs in the
composition is excellent because it enhances the image and
makes the image very interesting.
“To me, photography is an art
of observation. It’s about find-
ing something interesting in an
ordinary place… I’ve found it
has little to do with the things
you see and everything to do
with the way you see them.”

Joint Winner PDI – Open (Advanced) The Wind Dance by Mari-
anna Meyer (26). A very good high key image because the treat-
ment and processing suites the soft flowers, which stand out
well from the blurred background.
