Winner Print - Open (Master): Dance of the Willis by Kim Stevens (26). A beautiful picture that
appears almost like a painting. It has a graceful, ghostly and spiritual look. The different posi-
tions of the dancers create an attractive flow that is added to by the soft background and the
reflection on the floor. The colour of the image is also very well handled.
Winner Print – Open (Advanced): Gondolas in Motion by Ruth Scholtz (25). There is something very
attractive about this image by having the softness of the moving boats intersected with the straight
and solid line of the upright poles. The colours complement each other beautifully. Together with the
moody sky and the softness of the water, this is an excellent slow shutter speed image that is perfectly
exposed.
