Winner Print – Set (Intermediate) Sonde met die bure by Simon Mouton (27). The viewer can adopt any of a great number of inter-
pretations. All of them could be a story told. It is a beautifully balanced composition and the shadow adds a lovely touch in the
ideal place. Not being bilingual, I consulted a friend for a translation of the title and she almost described the image without having
seen it. A great title!
Winner PDI – Set (Beginner) Splat by Johan Walden (24). Brilliant! The story is very strong and nothing else needs to be added.
However, a better depth of field and sharpness would have technically elevated the image.
