Winner PDI – Open (Advanced) Gemma and Kyle by Lea-Anne Alexander (26). A beautifully composed and sharp image of two
dancers in a stunning pose and perfectly aligned bodies. The lighting is well handled with lovely skin tones. The diagonal lines in the
square format are very strong and work well, although the cropping around the dancers it slightly too tight, particularly at the bottom.
Winner PDI - Set (Advanced) Stormers vs Clermont by Roger Trythall (24). This is an excellent sport image with lots of interesting ac-
tion such as the full scrum and a player with the ball in full flight. The different elements are well separated from each other. It is pin-
sharp and well exposed. Perhaps tone down the bright orange colours as it draws the eye to the officials rather than the players.
