Winner Print – Open (Advanced) Winter Flows by Johan van Wyk (28). A very sharp image with superb details in the rocks and veg-
etation. Beautiful colour throughout and particularly in the water. The chosen shutter speed is perfect as it allows the details and
beautiful colours of the rocks below the water to shine through. A stunning photograph!

Winner PDI – Open (Master) Campo della Salute by Jacoba van Zyl (28). Despite seeing many similar images of Venice, this is a very
special one because of its excellent composition and its curved line from bottom right to the background. There is an attractive
interplay between the smooth surface of the water and the busy architecture of the palaces. It is also pleasing that the saturation
has been taken down slightly which is a pleasant relief from the often oversaturated images of this famous landmark.
