Winner Print – Open (Advanced) Karoo Dam at sunrise by Lea-Anne Alexander (26). A lovely image that is peace-
ful with a very attractive soft pink sky and beautiful reflections in the water. The trees and vegetation around the
dam are pin sharp and presenting it in a panoramic format adds to the appeal of the image.
Winner Print – Open (Intermediate) New York vibes by Ansie du Toit (24). This is certainly a vibey image due to its
lights, colours and movement depicted in it. Anybody who has been to New York can ‘feel’ the mood. The colours
and the signage are exceptionally well handled, particularly the latter which is very noticeable but not readable
and therefore not distracting or intrusive.
