Winner PDI – Open (Advanced). Slow motion by Simon Frank Mouton (26). A lovely seascape image
taken at the right time with beautiful colours in the sky that are reflected in the water. The shadows are well
handled with beautiful details still coming through in the surrounding rock. The slow shutter speed has cre-
ated a lovely effect in the sky and in the water channel. This together with an excellent composition, makes
this an exceptional image.

Winner PDI – Open (Intermediate) Sentinel by Ansie du Toit (24). An interesting approach
to using a Zoom burst. The colours are soft and muted and there is enough information in
the image to let us know what the subject is. To start the Zoom burst at the sentinel instead
of the clouds would have been even more effective.
