Winner Print — Set (Salon) Under the Spiral Stair by Winner Print – Set (Advanced) Reaching for the Sky
Richard Goldschmidt (25). A great image of a spiral that by Joyce Goldschmidt (24). A striking image because
looks very organic with excellent retention of the details of the repetition of shapes and the sharp definition
in the white. The handling of the blacks gives it great between light and shadows — although both could
form, leading the eye all the way to the top of the image. be pushed slightly to increase the graphic appearance.
The conversion to Mono is very well handled, perhaps a Suggest cropping slightly at the bottom and remove
touch more contrast is needed. the item on one of the balconies as it detracts from the
rhythm of the design.
Winner Print – Set (Salon) Weatherman Pete by David Barnes (25). A great conceptional/composite image that
tells a great story. The use of the three distinct and quite separate items suggests a children’s story book approach.
It is very well executed - perhaps include slightly less sky and a bit more of the tree trunk.
