Winning images from December 2024
Set subject: Nature - Birds Only
The judges for December were Phillip de Lange APSSA, DPSSA(Vers), AFIAP for the Set subject PDIs
and all prints and Alan Nixon for the Open PDIs. Phillip is an experienced JAP accredited judge
from Witzenberg and Alan chairs the PSSA national JAP committee.
Promotions this month: congratulations to
Tom Goshen promoted to Intermediate.
Entries in the monthly PSSA Competition:
The Senior Entry for December was Valencia Science Museum and Hemispheric by Lesley
Parolis and the Junior Entry was Bugs munching Squirrel by Tom Goshen.
PSSA Senior entry and winner Print – Open (Master) Valencia Science Museum and Hemispheric by Lesley
Parolis (28). A beautifully composed and executed image that shows that the photographer is completely in tune
with his/her camera. There is excellent balance and beautiful colours throughout the image. Together with the mag-
nificent reflections, this is a most commendable image.
