Winner PDI – Open (Advanced) Gotyah by Leslie Crookes (27). An excel-
lent shot which many photographers strive to achieve. The wings are beauti-
fully spread, and the face and beak are nice and sharp, and the whites are
well handled. The timing of the action and the moment is perfect and not
easily achievable.
Winner Print – Open (Advanced). Perfect Reflections by Johan Van Wyk (29). A most power-
ful landscape image that has been most professionally handled. It is perfect in every possible
way – from its compositional and exceptional graphic design elements to its beautiful colour
range. It fully deserves the high score.
