Winner Print – Set (Advanced) Chuting the Line by Mike Stricker (22).
Francois du Bois commented: An attractive image that is well composed and well exposed. It does, however, show
some over sharpening on the shoulders of the boys.
Mike Stricker explains: My wife, Jenny’s, grandniece was celebrating a birthday party with school friends at the
Toboggan Park, which we were invited to attend (as non-tobogganing participants !). I promised to take some pho-
tographs, mindful of the upcoming CTPS competition subject matter
Unfortunately, access to the wider park was restricted for safety reasons, so I had to make do with the public viewing
area, with little choice as to positioning myself relative to the background, sun position, etc.
