Cape Camera October 2023

Winner PDI – Set (Intermediate) Early morning from Table Mountain by Simon Frank Mouton (23). The image was
taken at the right time of the day with the face of the mountain presenting itself in great light. The beautiful fore-
ground with the flowering plants in different colours and textures adds to the overall feeling of spring. A more gen-
erous crop at the top where the bush is cut off could have added to the image.

Winner PDI – Set (Beginner) A Splash of Colour by Johan Walden (23). A very clever image with a fun aspect.
The colour combinations work very well together and the placement of the brush and petals are also good.
However, the image needs some cleaning up of spots that are noticeable on the background paper.
