Cape Camera October 2023

Winner Print – Set (Master) Spring Story by David Barnes (26). A clever and original interpretation of the theme.
Great sky that complements the green in the grass and the yellow in the flowers. Using individual and slightly
different sizes and forms of the flowers is commendable and works well, giving the image balance and form.

Winner Print – Set (Intermediate) Springtime Churchhaven by Mike Stricker (23). The pathway starting at the
bottom right corner of the image all the way to the lagoon makes for an effective leading line, and the two
people walking along add additional interest. The clouds in the beautiful sky are very well captured. Sadly,
there is very little evidence of spring in the image and therefore it does not really meet the set subject.
