Winner PDI - Set (Intermediate) Zeitz Museum by Ansie du Toit (24).
Kim Stevens commented: A well captured view of the ceiling of the entrance to the Zeitz museum,
which showcases how the previous silo columns were cut through obliquely to create this unique
and spectacular design. Well exposed with lovely colours and attractive shadow plays. To bring back
some of the details in the shadows on the right and straighten the window line at the bottom of the
image would add that extra point.
Ansie du Toit explains: I have an annual pass for the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa at the
V&A Waterfront, but I am not always able to appreciate the art they display. The building is, however,
simply one of the most beautiful in the city and makes innovative use of an empty structure. I love
going again and again, because the light changes constantly and makes me notice something else
                 every time.
