Winner Print – Set (Master) Ceiling detail St John church Valencia by Lesley Parolis (25).

Kim Stevens commented: A beautiful example of a very ornate Baroque cathedral with challenging light condi-
tions that are well handled, including in the stain glass windows. It is pin sharp and well composed although the
symmetry of the left- and right-hand columns could have been improved. Also, the orange and yellow colours
could have been toned down slightly.

Winner PDI – Open (Master) Bathing in the Moonlight by David Barnes (27).

Natasha Bird commented: A very engaging and powerful image that is reminiscent of the iconic photo of Yoko
Ono and John Lennon by Annie Leibovitz. The moon in the background helps to accentuate the form and the line
of the bodies. Very well exposed with beautiful lighting and excellent composition makes this image a most attrac-
tive and creative conversation piece of art photography.
David Barnes explains: I started with a concept and this was the result. I gave it a title, and it has emotional ap-
peal for me. I want viewers to look at it and let their minds wander. What does it mean to you? What do you see?
